Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is hiring Geotechnical Field Technicians for our Washington, D.C. office. This role is perfect for recent grads or anyone ready to build a career in civil engineering, geology, or construction.
In this role, you’ll be hands-on with the construction process, observing, testing soils, concrete, and other materials on active construction sites, gaining hands-on experience and industry certifications. What You Need:
High school diploma or degree (engineering/geology preferred)
Reliable vehicle & good driving record
Certifications like NICET, ACI, WACEL, or Structural a plus

Salary range for entry level to senior technicians with certifications is between $20 - $26 per hour.
This role is physically active and requires extended periods of standing, repetitive motions, and frequent reaching, climbing, crouching, or kneeling. You must have full sensory capability (sight, smell, etc.) and be able to regularly lift up to 60 lbs, occasionally 80+ lbs (e.g., loaded wheelbarrows of concrete or soil).
